The Genesis G90 and Infiniti Q70 5.6 are the only ones, I think. Everyone else has moved to turbo V8s or do not offer AWD on their NAV8 sedans

How long do you these 2 will last before being replaced by turbo-V6s?

Genesis, probably soon. The Infiniti though, since Nissan like to keep making the same thing for 15 years, I’d give it to at least 2030.

If they put the new Q50 Red S p ort’ s 400HP engine in the Q70 but retain the steering and not go all double-screen on the interior but only update the infotainment system , I’d buy one...
...as a CPO a few years after they make it.

As usual, the Japanese and Koreans do everything America does, but better. Cars, cartoons, barbecue , etc.

The current G80 also has the 5.0 with AWD available. I think you’re right about those three being the end of the line unless the new K900 makes the V8 optional in the US.

Pithy comment about how the Asian marques are always about a decade behind, but they do it well.

Not in the US. Only in Canada. G80 5.0 is RWD only here .

Korea doesn’t make ~700 bhp V8 sedans.
Check mate.
But I stand by my opinion that they’re doing sports sedans better than the Germans.

It was made available in the US for 2018. It’s also ridiculously heavy!

Well that’s news to me. Went to the Genesis site to check when I wanted to confirm the G90 specs as well and there was nothing, no build and price . So went on Autotrader to filter by AWD and V8 still didn’t show up. I guess they are rare.

Not AWD but yeah they’re incredible value for money now. Seems to be a nice highway cruiser

What’s the long-term reliability on the Tau V8 like? I kind of remember the first generation on them having trouble keeping all their oil inside.
